Mani/Pedi Anyone?
Somewhere in the past year or so, I finally stopped getting acrylic on my nails and let them be natural. It was bittersweet, since it took some time for my nails to regain their strength, but not having to go to the nail salon every two weeks was great! Not to mention it put a little more money in my pocket. Now that my nails are growing and healthy, I have tried to keep them polished from time to time. I swear maybe two days go by and the tips are always chipped, which I detest! But I noticed keeping them polished not only makes my hands and beautiful ring look better, but it keeps my nails growing strong.
One day I was browsing the nail section in the store and noticed the Sally Hansen polish strips. For about $8 a box, you can literally apply paint to your nails with no drying time needed. There are several colors and patterns to choose from and the box will accommodate both your nails and toes. After the first use, I was hooked! They are easy to apply, just stick and shape with a nail file, they last about 2 weeks, and they don't chip!! OMG! To remove them, you simply rub them off with nail polish remover and a cotton ball. I get so many compliments on my homemade mani-pedi and I tell everyone about my new find.
You can find them at most super stores or your local CVS or Walgreens. They are amazing!
