Paint those Baseboards!

I consider myself a cleaning professional! When I am at a client's house, I am always paying attention to the little things that let me know how often they clean their house. One very important clue are the baseboards. With simple maintenance of wiping them down with a damp towel from time to time, they will shine and sparkle. But when neglected for too long, the dullness and the buildup will stand out! For some reason, no one likes to clean their own baseboards! So they call me!

After spending time at a client's house, I always come home and inspect mine for what needs to be better! This week has been all about the baseboards. I have been going from room to room on my hands and knees spraying and wiping boards all throughout the house. And then I remembered I have that little can of touch-up paint and decided to take it up a notch. What a beautiful difference! I suggest baby steps with this project, especially if you are like me....if my 2.5 year old is playing by himself for too long, a major catastrophe will be waiting for me. So set a goal of 3 baseboards a day. I honestly smiled so big when I looked at mine from afar after their new coat of paint. Just beautiful! Now if only I can conquer wallpapering!!
