Mommy Moments
I definitely had a Mommy Moment tonight with my youngest son Maxwell. He is 3 now, and at that age where every thing you do can possibly become a game. And he's potty training! We decided to take a quick potty break before going to bed, and realized his pajamas were wet from playing in the sink (another long story) and needed to be changed. So once he takes care of his business, we go to pick out a new pair of pj's. Somewhere between this shirt or that one, we were in full-on peek a boo and you can't get me mode. He's hiding behind his clothes laughing his heart out that he has nothing on but a pull-up and I can't get him. Calling his name in a serious voice is not working so I have to put my head down and not engage! And not laugh! After what seemed like forever I had to switch gears and take control, but I have to say, it was one of those moments where if you don't stop and just be in the moment, you will miss it forever. He has so much personality and is growing so fast right before my eyes. I'm glad I remember to stop and smell the roses on the way!
Watch the attached video and be glad it's not you!
